Classical music has never lost its popularity. Over the years, it only becomes more interesting and relevant, including for young people. Concerts of classical works are in great demand all over the world. If we talk about concerts where the works of the composer Ravel are performed, then the audience welcomes them especially warmly and looks forward to them. In 2021 and 2022, a number of concerts are planned in North America, where the best works of the classic will be performed. So, a number of concerts will be played by the Los Angeles Symphony Orchestra. The musicians will perform works by Ravel and Mozart. In Houston, the works of the classic will be performed by Matthias Pintscher and Helene Grimaud. In Boston, the works of the great musician will be performed by Thomas Ades. It should be noted that Thomas is considered by many to be one of the best musicians today. Critics say that it is he who "feels" Ravel's works. David Danzmayr and John Adams will also perform classical works at concerts in 2022. Music critics write in their articles that they are pleased with the increased public interest in classical concerts in the last few years.
The planned concerts will feature the best works of the famous composer, such as Gaspard De La Nuit, Miroirs, Rapsodie Espagnole, La Valse and other works. There are a lot of albums released in the world performed by pianists and orchestras from many countries who perform Ravel's works. The perception of the composer's music always changes depending on the pianist, or the concert. However, what remains unchanged is that the works of the classic make the listener experience a lot of different emotions.
At the moment, it is known that concerts will be held in Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Houston, Portland and other cities, the list of which is constantly being updated.
It is possible to buy a ticket for a classical music concert at a price of $ 150. The price depends on the venue of the concert. In some cities, the cost may be much lower.
The concert lasts approximately two hours without taking into account the intermission time.
Ravel Bio
The talent of the French composer Maurice Ravel became a symbol of the 20th century and gave impetus to the creative development of many musicians of the new era. He is often called not only a composer, but also a reformer. Critics are sure that his work greatly influenced European music. The composer swarmed in 1875. The talented young man studied at the Paris Conservatory, from which he was expelled, then restored again. The gifted student is taken under his care by the famous composer Gabriel Faure, under whose influence Ravel's talent begins to unfold. Another famous composer, Andre Gedalge, gives Maris private lessons in counterpoint. However, the unique style of music and the independence of Maurice's judgments are not understood at the conservatory. Maurice was expelled again, and this time for good. The composer's work was very unusual and was gaining popularity among the people. At the same time, classical musicians turned against him and even called his work "anti-musical". Soon the composer became one of the most famous musicians in France, he was called the most progressive. In 1933, Ravel, having been in a car accident, received a head injury. Severe neurological disease did not allow him to continue working. In the last four years of his life, the composer has not written a single line. On December 28, 1937, after brain surgery, he died.
